Pubs

Some of the local public houses

The Barley Sheaf is the nearest pub, only 100 yards up the road and serves excellent food and a great range of ales. Refurbished only a few years ago, but maintaining it's character. Built in 1837 by a local farmer, William Kendall, and restored and currently run by his Great, Great Great Grandson Tom White with his wife Anne-Marie. They also have live music and quiz nights etc.

The Llawnroc in Gorran Haven is only a mile away.

The Rising Sun in Portmellon, 2 miles away, just don't try and get there when the tide is in as the sea washes over the road on the way there sometimes. 17th Century waterside pub.

The Crown Inn is a wonderful 16th century inn set in the picturesque village of St Ewe, 3.2 miles away serving a selection of cask ales.

For even more selection The Ship Inn, The Fountain, The Cellar Bar and The Harbour Tavern are all in Mevagissey, 2.8 miles away via Portmellon or 4.2 miles via Tregoney Hill (avoiding the tide at Portmellon).
