The Barley Sheaf is the nearest pub, only 100 yards up the road and serves excellent food and a great range of ales. Refurbished only a few years ago, but maintaining it's character. Built in 1837 by a local farmer, William Kendall, and restored and currently run by his Great, Great Great Grandson Tom White with his wife Anne-Marie. They also have live music and quiz nights etc. |
